A planning concept built around one question: what is the next useful thing to do?
Sul was an exploratory planning project. The idea was to avoid showing an entire plan at once and instead reveal the amount of detail a person needs at each stage.
01 / Logic
Start with the next step, not the whole plan.
The concept begins with the next useful action and lets the wider plan stay in the background until it becomes relevant.
02 / Structure
Show detail when it becomes useful.
The interface starts with less text and reveals more context on request. The aim was to make the first action easy to understand without removing the fuller planning structure behind it.
03 / Language fit
The wording has to help the user move.
Labels, instructions and empty states need to make the next action obvious. Sul was a small exercise in how interface wording, hierarchy and timing work together.
Why it is on this site
A small exercise in hierarchy, instructions and interface language.
It is not a translation project. I include it because it gave me another way to think about the relationship between wording and the structure around it.
